Convention Committees Meet Saturday January 30

The Convention Committees for the Johnson County which were elected at the Caucuses on Saturday will all meet in the auditorium of the Coralville Public Library at 10:00 Saturday morning January 30.

This includes the Platform Committee and the “Committee on Committees”.

After check in and a few comments to all, the Committee on Committees will divide into subcommittees and continue to organize in the auditorium. The Platform Committee will go to Meeting Room A of the library

The Committee on Committees will be divided into three committees: Arrangements, Credentials, and Rules and Nominations. Then these will meet separately in parts of the auditorium to organize and plan future meetings and communications. In all, this should be completed by 10:30 or 10:45. The Auditorium is available until noon.

The Platform meeting might to last until noon. At that meeting instructions and background will be given and members will organize into subcommittees according to issue preference.
