Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the end of slavery in the United States

The city of Iowa City is providing free parking starting at 12:30pm in the Chauncey Swan parking garage (right next to the recreation center)
Hosted by the Johnson County Juneteenth Community Committee

There will be a special ceremony to honor the 9 victims of the Charleston, SC shooting beginning at 12:45 pm.
There is no charge for the event, which will include informational displays, food, live music and entertainment, a health fair, and games and activities for the whole family.
